I cancel my flight within 24 hours . but they would not refund my $4350

i cancelled our book flight $ 4395 within 24 hours . with cancellation number ..

they say will credit our credit card 3 to 5 days not including sat, and Sunday ...

then , they changed to 7 or 8 days .. still no credit to our credit card

Flight booking error

In Barely spoke English Didnt really help me. Gave me minimal solutions I said just cancel the first flight and he said I couldnt I needed to be in Jacksonville on Saturday not Sunday it was a booking error So I booked through another company for Saturday which cost me much leas then what he offered

Refund request – unable to cancel within 24 hours due to an Orbitz malfunction

Hello,

I am contacting you regarding a reservation made on your platform. In accordance with your 24-hour cancellation policy, I attempted to cancel my tickets within this timeframe. However, the reservation did not appear in my Orbitz account, making it impossible to proceed with the cancellation.

This technical issue prevented me from exercising a right clearly stated on your website. I would like to remind you that, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, as well as the general obligations applicable to intermediary service providers, the professional must provide a compliant service and cannot charge for a service that was not made accessible.

Furthermore, when a 24-hour cancellation policy is advertised, it becomes contractually binding. The fact that your platform did not allow me to use this feature constitutes a contractual and technical failure, for which you are responsible.

I was charged the full amount of the tickets even though I attempted to cancel them immediately. These tickets will not be used.

I therefore request a full refund of this reservation, in accordance with your legal and contractual obligations.

Cancel trip

Can’t get a hold of anyone for refund or credit

Miss flight by six minutes due to traffic on I 75 from Sarasota Tampa Internation, where I was going from Tampa international to Chicago nonstop Midway cant get a hold of live person need them to call me. They have a two hour wait

Customer service at the pick-up car area said the insurance doesn't work here, and I need to deposit $16,000 in order to take the car. I don't appreciate that.

Now I can't get through to customer service unless I have an itinerary number? Helloooo!!!

I don't have one because you took my money but never competed registration. COMPANY IS A SCAM!!!

Do Not Use Orbitz to book car rentals. (flight and hotel was fine although i will not ever use them again.

for anything and had left this opinion with voice mail to their closed office from ALB Airport, while spending hours trying to get another vehicle.. Nuff said..

i have moved on. They have never contacted me, should say something

I buy mi tickets in Orbitz, then suggest spirit Aeroline but is a garbage because them put my flight for more the 2 hours late, them no said anything about the situation, I ask all the people work for the Aeroline and them said them no know what happened, after the make me go in any where some girl said you flight is gone and we have flight until 2 days, so I said I dont have family here I dont have place for sleep and them only said sorry we can refound maybe a portion, so the mistake come from them, because the flight is Late from them, and some body have medical conditions and them leave me there and I pay for the mistakes the Aeroline and them no give me my refound, so you need go ready for maybe the Aeroline leave you in other state and you need figure out what you can doing for solve the problem, and is no serious Aeroline anti professional people for law them need give you solution, refound money the you lost for the mistake them had

I am in New Orleans and flew here from Lexington on the 29th. My return flight is June 4.

But even with a severe personal problem, I was not allowed to change my return flight. I know that it was a no change flight, but I hoped there would be an exception for something major.

You can change whatever you want. Orbitz isn’t going to pay the fee for you.

That’s the airline charging you the fee. If you booked directly with the airline, you could have pleaded your case to them directly.

I booked a reservation for a rental car in Phoenix through Orbitz. I was charged by Orbitz and the rental car company.

The amount of the double charge was $24.00.

My itinerary was: 731323****5491. Please issue a refund.
